Life as a telecommunications student at the University ofFlorida is pretty exciting I must say. There are so many opportunities
available for students in our college that make it so much easier for people to
get engaged and involved. The Center for Media Innovation and Research has
allowed so many students to improve their journalism abilities and get a taste
for the real world of journalism that is out there. The Innovation News Center
is somewhere that you can find me most of the time if I am on the University of
Florida campus. This is a place where I have learned skills to become a
well-trained reporter and journalist. I have learned how to orchestrate
interviews, how to record and edit sound, as well as video on premier pro. The
INC definitely has a place in my heart and is somewhere that I have spent a lot
of my time in my years at the university. There are so many things that I have
learned and had the opportunity to experience as a Telecommunications major
that I will be able to have with me for the rest of my life.
